ITE College West
The new £90 million Institute of Technical Education in Singapore is a landmark for more than one reason. It was our first PPP concession outside the UK, and it's taken our customer a big step closer to becoming a global leader for innovation in technical education.
The construction and management was carried out by Gammon Construction, our joint venture company, but the bid and design was a Group-wide effort. The result is an inspiring and interactive learning environment for over 1,500 students - one that offers flexible teaching and leisure facilities, green spaces and an integrated 'business town'. The ground-breaking nature of the project has been recognised by its award as Project Finance International's Asia Pacific PPP Deal of the Year 2008.
